Our Early Years Team
Kate - Manager
Kate is one of the original children of Bright Sparks! And has been with us now for over 25 years!
Kate holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Early Childhood Studies,a HND in Early Childhood Studies, a Diploma in Pre-School Practice and NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Childcare & Education. And also Level 3 Forest School.
Kate is our named officer for Safeguarding and more.
'Outstanding Early Years Individual of the Year' winner 2018 with the Early Years Alliance.
Danni - Deputy
Danni started with us as a student over 18 years ago from John Masefield High school, where she initially undertook an NVQ . She has continued to work very hard since then and is so good that she is now our deputy manager!
Danni holds Early Years Professional Status,Early Years Foundation Degree, NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Childcare & Education. Elklan Communication Friendly Setting Lead.
Leanne - Deputy
Leanne started in January 2021, when Danni went on maternity leave. Leanne has over 8 years of experience and comes to us with a wealth of knowledge. Leanne is also our Behaviour Management lead.
Leanne holds a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare & Education & also holds a Level 3 in Forest School
Kirsty - Assistant

Kirsty started with us when she moved into Hereford when one of our older members of the team set off to do her Teacher training. Kirsty joins us all the way from sunny Wales,where she has worked in Early Years for a number of years. Kirsty is our named SENCO.
Kirsty holds a Level 2 Childcare and Education and wishes to work towards a Level 3 qualification very soon.
Amanda - Assistant
Amanda was originally one of our many happy parents with twin boys and then a few years later when one of our older members of our team retired, we were pleased to welcome Amanda aboard the Bright sparks team.
Amanda holds a Diploma in Pre-School Practice & a NVQ 2 in Childcare & Education.
Kayleigh-Assistant
Kayleigh holds a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare & Education.
Dana-Assistant
Dana holds a Level 2 in Education & Care
George-SEN Assistant

Please note:ALL Staff have completed Safeguarding Training,Food Hygiene Training and First Aid also.
With Kate,Danni,Amanda & Kirsty also being trained in ELKLAN Speech & Language for Under 5's.
