Bright Sparks - All About Us

 

We are a registered charity run Early Years setting and have been providing Early Years Care & Education for over 40 years, within the Tupsley area which is located in the North of Hereford.

 

We were graded at our previous OFSTED inspection"OUTSTANDING"  (June 2014) However we relocated in January 2019 and that meant following Ofsted's procedures, we had to have a new registration. Therefore our Outstanding inspection result will only be online for up to 5 years, whilst we await another inspection at our new premises. 

 

We started when one of our founders a Ms Kath Gardner wanted to support Broadlands Primary School in the North of Hereford when it risked closure, because of low numbers in children attending, so Broadlands Playgroup opened its doors in October 1979.

 

Since then, we have continued to grow from only offering morning sessions to now expanding to half or full day sessions for 49 weeks of the year for children from the age of 18 months old to 5yrs old. 

 

We aim to provide a safe and secure environment for your children, therefore enabling them to learn through play in a friendly and stimulating place with a highly qualified team of Early Years practitioners working to the same guidelines as all Early Years Providers.

 

We work to a high ratio of adults to children, thus giving your child the individual care and support he/she will need.

 

As a parent/carer you will be given ample opportunity to be directly involved with activities in the group which will be rewarding for both you and your child. We aim to give you all as happy as time as possible.
